We built iGET because exam prep shouldn't cost more than a coaching class.
A free, no-nonsense practice platform for students preparing for UPSC, SSC, Bank, Railway, NEET, JEE — and dozens of state and entrance exams. No paywall. No “premium” tier. No catch.
How this started
In 2024, I was watching a cousin in Delhi prepare for SSC CGL. He was spending ₹4,500 a month on a coaching center plus ₹400 per mock test booklet from the local market — and still ran out of practice questions two weeks before the exam.
The expensive online platforms wanted ₹3,000–₹8,000 for a year's access. The free ones either had 50 questions on repeat, broken interfaces, or were just lead-generation funnels for coaching enrollments.
I figured there had to be a middle ground — a place where any student with a smartphone could practice thousands of real exam-pattern questions, take timed mock tests, and track their progress. Without paying a rupee. Without an account, even.
So I built one. iGET launched in mid-2025 with around 800 questions. Today it has thousands more across dozens of subjects, and it keeps growing every week.
“The single biggest barrier between a student in a tier-3 town and a government job isn't intelligence. It's access to quality practice material. That's a problem worth solving.”

A. Reza
Founder & Editor-in-Chief · iGET
I'm A. Reza — a Delhi-based developer, not a coaching tycoon or an exam topper. iGET is my attempt to build an honest, no-chaos study resource for Indian competitive exams. While AI tools help with deep research, I personally review and edit every post, mock test and answer key before it is published. If you spot an error, email me and I fix verified mistakes within 24 hours.

How our content is created
Being transparent here, because trust matters more than marketing.
Practice questions (the MCQs)
Most questions come from publicly available previous year papers (PYQs from 2009–2024), licensed question banks, and original questions written from official syllabi. Every question has a marked answer and most include an explanation. We add roughly 80–150 new questions a week.
Blog posts & exam guides
Our blog uses a hybrid workflow: an initial draft is researched with AI tools, cross-referenced against official sources (UPSC, SSC, IBPS, NTA), then reviewed and edited by A. Reza before publishing. Every post carries a clear source citation. A lot of sites mass-publish AI content and pretend it is hand-written by experts — we'd rather just tell you what we actually do.
How we stay free (and will stay free)
iGET runs on a single funding model: display ads through Google AdSense. You see a few unobtrusive ads; we earn a small amount from impressions; that pays the server bills. There is no “free tier” with hidden upsells, no premium plan, and no coaching-institute funnel behind the scenes.
If ad revenue ever covers costs with a surplus, we'll reinvest it in more original explanations, video walkthroughs, and translations into more Indian languages. That's the plan.
Three things we promise
No paywalls, ever
Every existing free feature stays free. We will not “introduce premium” later.
No spam, no data selling
A free account's email is used only for password reset and rare update notifications. We never sell email lists.
No fake claims
We won't inflate student counts or claim toppers who never used iGET. The numbers on this page are the real numbers.
Common questions
Is iGET really 100% free?
Yes. No credit card, no trial period, no premium upgrade prompt. We make money from Google AdSense — the small ads you see while browsing. That covers everything.
Who writes the practice questions and explanations?
Questions are sourced from previous year papers (PYQs — public domain) and original questions written from official syllabi. Explanations are written or reviewed by A. Reza and a small team of subject contributors.
Do you use AI to create content?
For blog posts: yes, as a research and drafting tool — but every post is reviewed and edited by a human before publishing. For the MCQ bank: mostly no — those are from PYQs and human-curated sets.
Can I trust the answer keys?
We aim for 99%+ accuracy and cross-check against official answer keys where available. If you find a wrong answer, email support@iget.in — verified errors are fixed within 24 hours.
Why is the design simple and not flashy?
Most users are on entry-level Android phones with budget connections. Heavy designs mean slow load times and high data costs, so we optimise for usability over animation.
How can I support iGET if everything is free?
Three things help a lot, free of cost: don't use ad-blockers on iGET, share a useful page with a friend preparing for the same exam, and email in any errors or suggestions you spot.
That's the story.
If you're preparing for an exam, head to free practice and get started. If you want to talk, our inbox is open.
