Welcome to iGET (iget.in). This Privacy Policy explains how A. Reza, the operator of iGET, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit or use our free exam preparation platform. By using iget.in, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

iGET is a free online exam preparation platform owned and operated by A. Reza, based in New Delhi, India. We provide MCQ practice tests, mock exams, syllabus guides and study material for students preparing for Indian competitive exams including UPSC, SSC, IBPS, RRB, NEET, JEE, CTET and state-level Public Service Commissions.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate iget.in. The types of data we may collect include:

Information you provide voluntarily

  • Account registration (optional): Name and email address when you create a free account
  • Communication: Email content when you write to us at support@iget.in
  • Feedback: Comments, error reports or suggestions you submit

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Questions attempted, test scores, subjects practiced, time spent on pages
  • Device & technical data: Browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preference
  • Connection data: IP address (anonymized where possible), approximate location (country/state level), referring URL
  • Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 4 below for details
Important: iget.in is a free service. We never collect payment information, banking details or sensitive personal identifiers (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, etc.). If you ever receive a request for such information claiming to be from us, report it to support@iget.in immediately.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: Provide and maintain MCQ practice, mock tests and study materials
  • Progress tracking: Save your test scores, bookmarks and study history (for registered users)
  • Account management: Password reset emails, account verification and important service notifications
  • Site improvement: Analyze usage patterns to fix bugs, optimize performance and add features
  • Advertising: Display relevant ads via Google AdSense (see Section 5)
  • Communication: Respond to your support emails and feedback
  • Legal compliance: Comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests and prevent fraud

  • Account data: Retained while active; deleted on request or after 24 months of inactivity
  • Usage logs: Aggregated analytics retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default)
  • Support emails: Retained up to 24 months to maintain support history
  • Cookies: Session cookies expire on browser close; persistent cookies last up to 24 months

10. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access a summary of personal data we process about you
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Right to grievance redressal
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time
  • Right to nominate another person to exercise these rights

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
  • Users under 18 should have parental consent before creating an account
  • If a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact support@iget.in and we will delete it promptly
  • Personalized advertising via Google AdSense is not directed at children under 13

  • All data transfers use HTTPS encryption (SSL/TLS)
  • Account passwords are securely hashed — we cannot see or recover your password
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • We do not store payment information — iget.in is completely free
  • Regular security updates and monitoring of our hosting infrastructure

No online service is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password and notify us at support@iget.in if you suspect unauthorized access.

13. International Users

iget.in is operated from India and primarily serves users in India. If you access the site from outside India, your data will be processed in India and potentially in countries where our service providers (e.g., Google) operate. By using iget.in, you consent to this transfer and processing.

14. Changes to This Policy

  • We update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • For material changes, we notify registered users via email
  • We may display a notice on iget.in for a reasonable period

Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
